The Refugee Bicycle Club is an NGO that collects used bikes, restore them and give them for free to refugees in Copenhagen. One of the founders approached me after watching A Journey and the Doors and our mutual interest in bikes and helping refugees immediately sparked an interest to collaborate for this higher purpose. To me, this is one of the most heart-warming initiatives, offering refugees a free way of exploring their new home. Together with Café Parforce, located at Klampenborg train station, they offer a place to drop off or pick up bikes that help refugees and help bring the community together.
